The Club

Bucklow Trafford Riding Club has been running for over 40 years through rough and smooth. We try to promote a keen interest in horse riding and competing. Encouragement to have a go. Please come to a show and maybe next time we will see you in the ring competing!

Our mission is to develop character confidence and a sense of community through good horsemanship and competitive activity

 

Once again we have packed the schedule with a huge array of qualifying events ranging from CHAPS, The Showing Register (TSR), NCPA, Senior Showing (SSAD), The Royal London Show, TOYS, Equifest and Grassroots - please see a full schedule of shows and qualifies page for full details. Please do let us know if there are any other qualifiers we can hold for you next year.

Throughout the season we have a points system based on horse and rider combination which also carries cup/trophies at the end of the year. All 5 shows are points qualifiers towards our annual presentation awards which includes a disco and buffet!

Held in November.

All rings have championship sashes and rosettes for places 1st to 6th. At the July show we have medals for all classes 1st to 3rd and Trophies for Supreme Championship.

For all dog lovers, due to the popularity and upon request we are running 2 dog shows one at the June show and one at the last show of the season in September.
