STARS - CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS
Show Teams and Rising Stars Champion of Champions is the brainchild of 35 year old Sarah Harrison. STARS established in 2018 is an inaugural competition that normally takes place over a weekend at the end of the season every year at Aintree Equestrian Centre, Liverpool. This new “end-of-season” Champion of Champions horse show event will give many young and aspiring equestrians something to aim for and to represent the Clubs which they ride for. What a true honour.A total of 60 Riding and Pony Clubs from cross the country have affiliated to STARS Champion of Champions for 2020 and it is anticipated that the event will grow in future years – maybe even holding regional events.Sarah believes this event will bring together the best of the best who will go head-to-head to be crowned Champion; with a chance to win not only the joy of victory for individual riders, but also financial reward and prestige of being crowned the STARS Supreme Riding Club of the Year. This will be done in such a manner as to make it fair whether you represent a large or smaller club – the top ten results from each section will be used and totalled to bring you your eventual Champion,
NCPA
The Northern Counties Pony Association was formed in 1964 with a small number of branches, this has now risen to 10, covering an area from Cumbria and Durham in the North down to Shropshire and Leicester in the South and including most counties in between.
On joining the NCPA, members can choose one of the eleven Branches to which their membership will be attached. Most Branches hold a number of shows and events each year. These vary as each Branch is responsible for its own calendar of events and functions. Every member of the NCPA is entitled to reduced entry fees at all of the various NCPA Shows. This website will provide you with everything you need to know from how to join, show dates, qualifiers, how to become a Judge and much more.
